COVID Information



To My Guests, Friends, and Fans,


At Gayle V's Best Ever Grilled Cheese, my top priority is the health and safety of my staff, guests, and community. I am staying informed by closely monitoring the news of the coronavirus and the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). In addition, I have implemented a number of enhanced protocols to ensure safety for everyone.


Proper hygiene etiquette and strict sanitation procedures have always been a part our daily operations. Given the outbreak of COVID-19, I am reinforcing these best practices and procedures to ensure the shop has the highest standards for cleanliness and sanitation for team members, guests, and the community as a whole. The following are some of the basic guidelines that my team and I always follow and enforce, in addition to some new practices.


What We Are Doing:


-Implementing heightened sanitation procedures in our kitchen, including increased wipe downs of all counters, cutting surfaces, and utensils.

-Sanitizing all “high-touch” surfaces at regular intervals.

-Reinforcing hygiene and hand-washing procedures for all employees.

-Educating my employees on preventative measures provided by the CDC.


What We Are Asking Our Employees and Guests To Do:


-Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds and use a paper towel to dry.

-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

-Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then immediately throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.

-Stay home if you are sick.

-I will continue to stay informed, monitor the guidelines from CDC, and revise our actions as needed.
